Spring is on it's way!
Children's Museum and around Louisville
Can you believe how big Jonathon has been getting? He is learning so much. He has become Daddy's lil' helper...and jokester! Last Monday, I got Jonathon in the car so we could head to 'school', put my mountain bike on the bike rack and got back in the car. When I got back in, he was crying,
"Daddy...I got to go pee-pee."
"Did you go already?"
"Not yet."

We both hurried upstairs and he got everything down and started to do his thing. His tears quickly dried and he looked up to me and in a matter-of-fact way he said,
"The potty's thirsty."
I said, "Huh...what did you say?"
"The potty's thirsty and I'm giving it my pee-pee so it's not thirsty anymore." Then he gives me a big smile and we both start laughing.

Of course I was late for work but I was so happy to be able to enjoy that little moment with him.

Jonathon has learned all his letters, knows his numbers, days of the week, colors, and of course from the story above, has been potty trained for some time. He has been doing really well at learning his manners and being polite. I am so proud of him. He is becoming such a wonderful, adaptive, considerate little boy.

We went up to the Indianapolis Children's Museum a couple months ago and had a great time with my parents and my sister's family. I have uploaded some pictures to check out.

We hope everyone is having a great start to spring. I know Jonathon and I are looking forward to it with baseball starting. Go Sox!

The new year has come and gone. We had a great Christmas together! A friend at work who has a 8 and a 10 yr old, was wanting to get rid of their Thomas the Train stuff.

Well, one night after work I went to check it out. The co-worker's sons were quite the salesmen. Come to find out, their father said that whatever was sold, he would give them a portion of the money. They were showing me each individual train, stating why I should have that certain one and if I said 'Yes' then they would tell me why the next train should go and not be parted with the last train! Needless to say, I got the good majority of "Thomas" stuff!

After our Christmas, we went to my mom and dad's house for New Year's celebration. We are enjoying a 'free' snow day together today. Louisville received about 2 inches of snow and most businesses and schools/daycares are closed today! Much different then New England! It would have to be a minimum of 6 inches to even think about considering the possibility.

We hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday period and wish you the best for 2009.
