Today is Jonathon's two week milestone! To celebrate, we have pictures. I know I'm a little biased but he is becoming more photogenic every day.My mom left to go back to Illinois today. We really enjoyed her visit and it was great to have her help in this transitional period. It is so hard seeing family leave, especially when you don't see them as often as you would like.
There is one sure way to get any grandparent to beam. Put their grandbaby in their arms, and they melt like butter. Or like Cherry Garcia ice cream? I introduced Mom to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and I think I gave her my addiction...that gene must run in our family:)

Thank-you soooo much for letting me be part of this happy occasion in your life. I enjoyed every second that I got to spend with Jonathon. What a precious baby boy! Watching you and Heather this week take care of him asures me what loving, caring parents you will be. I love you all very much, and hope that it isn't to long before I can come back. It sure is hard to be a long distance grandparent. By the way Russ I did really enjoy the icecream. Sorry I didn't save you any. It is addictive! I couldn't stop eating it. Love+Prayers, Mom
